Illegals Taking advantage of the generosity of Americans to the tune of Billions

Everybody deserves a chance in life. There is obviously a need for some of them to be here or they wouldn't be able to work.

Do you think probation causes post traumatic stress or paranoia symptoms?

If a person is on probation, then the authorities have every right to make sure that inspections are random. Why would you tell a criminal when they were going to be checked up on? Too bad if they get paranoid. The safety of the public in more important than their comfort. Why do some people...

Do police retire poor or rich?

That is so sad. I think that thinking about the future is important in any profession, but if you aren't guaranteed a proper pension at retirement, perhaps investments are the way to go? Start young, and build your capital. Police officers shouldn't ever have to retire poor!

    Cop movie mistakes

Tell him that maybe he could go into the movie business. They obviously need fact checkers like him. I don't agree with all the negative comments! Turn the negative into a positive. As an expert in specific fields, it is really irritating when I see people in movies and TV that aren't accurate...

How Old Does a Child Need to Be to Stay Home Alone?

Most states do not have a minimum age, and it is up to the parents discretion. Personally, my opinion is I don't let my kids stay home alone unless they are at least in middle school (about 11 years old - 6th grade).

    Faster police vehicles?

I agree with the motorcycle statement. Motorcycles always have the advantage. However, I like seeing those cool police cars. There are a lot of Dodge Chargers out where I live. I want one!

Woman fends off would-be rapist with frying pan

Do you have a link or source for the story? That does sound interesting, and a bit humorous. I'm glad that she was able to defend herself.

TV Reporter Quits to Help Legalize Cannabis in Alaska

Of course she was biased, and unfairly put in that position in the first place! How could they make her report on her own business?? I'm glad she quit and stood up for what she believed in.

    I'm going to start running

I've heard the walk/run method is the best way to begin running. Walk for a minute, run for a minute, or whatever the increments are. Just alternate between the two and build your way up to being able to run for longer periods of time.

Denver police chief wants to equip 800 officers with body cameras

I do not see a problem with body cameras on police officers. It doesn't only protect the officer, but the civilians as well. I think it will hold them accountable for their actions.

Convicted Child Molester Suing After Being Raped in Garfield County Jail

I can't feel sorry for him. As a victim of sexual assault, I have no sympathy for sexual predators of any kind. I have nightmares too, and I didn't do anything to deserve it.

What to do if I am interested in a career in Law Enforcement?

It depends what field you are interested in. Police, sheriff, highway patrol, state trooper? Generally there is a psychological evaluation for any law enforcement field, as well as a physical fitness exam, and a fitness test (obstacle course). They do background checks, but traffic violations...

    How can I find someone?

Do you know where he might be in prison at? If so, try calling the prison and asking for his inmate ID. You should be able to at least write to him that way.

    Boy, 15, drowns...

This is a local news story about a boy that drowned in a swimming pool. At the end of the article, it notes that you should watch your young children at the pool. The problem is, 15 is not a young child to me. In fact, most pools say that children 14 and over don't need supervision. I think this...

Joshua Manuel Lopez charged with the murder of Elmendorf Police Chief Michael Pimentel

Re: Article: Joshua Manuel Lopez charged with the murder of Elmendorf Police Chief Mi That is so incredibly sad! I hope that justice is served and Lopez goes to prison for a long time!! I don't understand how it is so easy for some people to take another person's life.

If you could live anywhere you wanted, where would you live?

If I could live anywhere in the world, I would definitely live in England. Not sure where. Manchester maybe? The country, the city, I love it all!

Would you rather go to jail for a year or live in your car for a year?

I don't know. Both would be horrible. At least you don't have to worry about food and stuff in jail, right? However, I would hate to lose my freedoms and worry about dealing with other inmates.

    Good boy!

Thank goodness for the dog! That is so terrible that anyone would abuse a child! A baby nonetheless!! It makes me want to hurt someone. No one should hurt children.

What would you do if you had a million dollars?

You have no idea! I am so poor. I have 5 kids and am a single mom. I would buy a house, a car, my 16 year old a car, and put away money for their college.

Last week I failed my polygraph test

I would get as much info about what part made you fail as you can, and figure it out from there. You can explain that you were nervous about the test, and maybe you can retake it?
