Are cops hard on their kids?

It does depend on the person but I have noticed something with male officers & their daughters. It seems like they are quite protective of them. Now this could be that way for most men with their daughters but it seems a tad more intense with male officers.

Not all cops are hard on their kids/family, I guess it really just depends. Maybe because the police officer, as a father, he just wants to raise their children disciplined with moral values, but not really to be too hard on them.

This all boils down to the character of the cop in general. There are cops who may be super strict and bureaucratic to the point of being scary to some people, but when they go home, they may be spoiling their children. There are others who may be lenient to civilians, but very strict to their kids. It's all a matter of preference really. At the end of the day, your character and choices will tell you what you are.
