As one who is supposed to uphold society's rules, how does a cop live with his own weaknesses?

Like people in other professions, cops need to understand their personal weaknesses, and either try to work with people who complement their weaknesses and strengths, or try to keep their weaknesses from effecting their job performance.

I agree with PineappleKing. If you know you are weak in an area, the best thing you can do is team up with someone who is strong in that area. We all have strengths and weaknesses, which is why teamwork is so important, not just for cops, but all professions. Especially in areas like law enforcement where there is a level of risk, it's even more important that people work together to so that they can do the best job together.
