Who services police cars?

Do police stations own their own repair shops or hire out for vehicle maintenance? I have never seen a police car out of commission. Yet, I do imagine this occurs from time to time.

I think it depends on the country but they either have specialized mechanics working for them or they use the brand's mechanics. One thing is for sure, they don't get anyone to do it as it's a responsibility.

They get to have contractors dude,someone who is reliable and services only police cars,someone who can be trusted with a job unlike the ones who would bomb a patrol car or something..
Police cars service it in shifts..something you might not be able to observe...The patterns are all different.
