Homeless Man Shot and Killed by... *12* Year Old

What was the kid's motive for shooting the homeless man? Was a defense given? If this happened in my country, the kid would just be handed to the welfare support system. We don't have juvenile prisons here.

Homeless people are generally despised by everyone and had not this made it in the news, everyone would have looked the other way. It's like we've got to a point where kids are callous. In China, a kid, 10, tried to murder someone because the tools he was using were noisy [and distracted him from the video game he was playing].

A workman nearly plummeted to his death after a child cut the ropes on his harness because he was "noisy"

I think all these games kids have been playing make them think that they can do the same thing in the real world and get away with it.
