What's your regular day to day schedule?

For a cop,it depends on his position in the hierarchy.In here,the commissioner normally won't even come up to his office,he will be on duty,but no fixed schedule.Likewise,even an inspector would not have specific schedules,if any,it must be routine check ups,beat Patrol and reporting to senior officers.
 
Thanks for the reply. I should have more specific in regards to which role. But you answer has prompted me with another question.

How do they log in the hours? Is it mandatory to do extra hours or is it the nature of the job? How do you juggle work life with personal life?
