Like people in other professions, cops need to understand their personal weaknesses, and either try to work with people who complement their weaknesses and strengths, or try to keep their weaknesses from effecting their job performance.

I was just wondering if, on the forces people worked on, the majority of people had children and families. I wanted to know if policemen are less or more likely than civilians to have families, or if when they get families they change lines of work.
Although it doesn't sound like my one of lifestyle, it's hard not to respect someone with that kind of dedication. That's someone who knows what they want and will do what's necessary to get it.
